FOOT PROBLEMS- CAUSES, TREATMENT N PREVENTION- III

Ways to prevent foot problems:

Footbath:- A footbath with a dash of bath salts is an essential routine for relaxing and soothing feeling. It does away with aches, pains and odour problems. Use a pumice stone in a gentle to and fro movement and wash off loosened skin. Thoroughly dry your feet with a soft, fluffy towel and don't forget to dry between toes. Smooth on a rich foot cream.

Footwear:- The right way to select sensible and suitable footwear is to first measure both your feet separately. Try on footwear, stand up and take a stroll around the store. If your toes are squeezed in or begin to pinch, those shoes arent for you. Try on a different pair.
Most of your foot problems are triggered off by ill fitting footwear. Narrow shoes and stiletto heels must be avoided :D Ok Ok don't gimme a punch.

Foot Exercise:- Foot Exercises are designed to keep your feet supple, relax and soothe tiredness, aches and excruciating pains. The time spent on leg and foot exercise will go a long way to keep your feet and legs looking great and problem free too.

Soothing Foot Massage:- Your legs and feet also respond to regular pampering. Give them a soothing and relaxing yourself or get it done in a parlour. The guideline to a good massage is ''the better you feel, the better you are massaging it''

Pedicure:- A pedicure forms a part of your weekly routine and must be carried out religiously to keep your feet in pristine condition and problem free too. For a simple DIY pedicure click here.

DIY FACE MASSAGE

                 A sound massage with a good cream enriched with Vitamin E helps reverse the adverse effects of environmental damage by increasing the skin's water content and preventing loss due to evaporation. Oil Massage

                 All of us love a massage on the head that peps us up and leaves us feeling fresh, ready to take on the world with a flick of our tresses. Include a head massage in your hair care routine for its numerous plus points and watch the difference it makes to our hair.

For the skepticals, here are the benefits of a massage:-
* It nourishes scalp and roots of your hair
* Helps make hair shiny, healthy, long, dark, lustrous and beautiful
* Hair becomes manageable
* Increases blood circulation of the scalp
* Relaxes the scalp muscles
* Prevents hair fall
* Prevents split ends, dandruff, early greying etc
* Relieves tension, anxiety and headaches

How to oil massage:- Sanitize your hands. Then using the tips of your fingers, apply the massage oil, working it in by making small, circulating strokes, moving the skin of the scalp forward and backwards. Also, you can pinch and pat your scalp and 'chop' it with the sides of your palms.
After the massage, wrap a hot towel around your head for sometime. Keep the oil overnight if you want or minimum of 2 hours before washing it off with a suitable shampoo. Use a suitable conditioner as well. Rinse thoroughly.

10 DON'TS FOR A BEAUTIFUL SKIN

              Hi Babes, after caring for your nails its high time you get a few skin care tips. Mostly blogs and sites tell you the dos but today I will tell you ten don'ts for super skin.

1. Don't be grumpy. Start the day with a smile, look at the mirror and give a big smile to yourself. Anger, tension, depression, making faces etc spoils beauty.

2. Don't sleep with makeup on your skin. If you do that your skin will become dull and lifeless, pimples and blackheads will follow. Properly clean your skin before heading to bed.

3. Don't go after junk food. Avoid cakes, pastries, chips, spicy food and cold drinks all together. Eat fresh veggies and fruits.

4. Don't imitate others. Just because your friend like a particular lotion/cream don't go out to buy it. Because it may have worked for her but it might not work for your skin in the same way. So consider your skin type before buying it, try it out at the cosmetic counter if possible. If the lotion/cream suits your skin and fulfills your requirements then buy it.

5. Avoid exposing your skin to the sun-rays. Use a good quality sunscreen cream/lotion on all exposed parts before going out in the sun. Wrap a scarf to protect your hair and also wear shades to protect your peepers.

6. Don't tug your skin. Don't stretch or pull it. Don't press black and whiteheads, it may injure and damage your skin. Always be gentle.

7. Avoid short cuts. First cleanse your skin, wash it. Secondly use a toner to close pores and finally moisturize your skin. Keep aside 10 minutes each in the morning and at night for yourself.

8. Avoid wrong massage strokes as it will do more harm than good. You may get get wrinkles and the skin structure may be destroyed. Most people use a massage cream to moisten the skin for massage, the best thing will be to apply it with upward-outward strokes. Correct application will help in massaging.

9. Don't talk when you have a face mask on. You may get wrinkles and fine lines to start off. It also affects the elasticity of skin.

10. Don't wash your face with hot water not even in winters. Use tepid water, neither hot nor cold. Always remember your skin is very soft and you need to pamper it as much as you can.

Now this is all I have for now. And Babes if you can come out with any more Don'ts please share with me. Bye for now :)
