Do you always have to look for not-so-sexy Halloween costumes 2012 every year because you are trying to hide your stretch marks? Are you concerned with all the stretch marks on your body and don’t know how to get rid of them? Although there are expensive and time-consuming medical remedies for getting rid of stretch marks, nothing beats the convenience of a home remedy. What you must know is that stretch marks are essentially scars on your body and thus, it is difficult to get rid of them completely.

Here are 3 of the most popular home remedies for removing stretch marks:

 Cocoa Butter And Oil Cream
Using cocoa butter is extremely helpful for rejuvenating the skin quality. It is extremely effective for making your skin more hydrated, smooth and supple.

Follow these steps to make your own cocoa butter and oil cream at home: · 1/2 cup cocoa butter ·1 Tablespoon wheat germ oil ·1 Teaspoon apricot kernel oil ·1 Teaspoon Vitamin E oil · 2 Teaspoons grated beeswax

Mix all the above ingredients in a medium sized pan and heat on medium heat till the beeswax melts. After the beeswax melts, remove it from the pan and keep it in an airtight container. Keep this cream in a cool dark place. Apply it after showering and at other times of the day, regularly.

 Olive Oil And Aloe Vera
Olive oil is essential in any beauty and skin care product as it is an extremely effective moisturizing agent. Given below are the ingredients that are needed to make this mixture. · 1/2 cup olive oil · 1/4 cup Aloe Vera gel · 4 Vitamin E capsules · 2 Vitamin A capsules

The liquid from the 2 types of vitamin capsules should be mixed in a bowl and then the remaining ingredients should be added to this mixture. This mixture is not only effective for removing stretch marks but is also extremely helpful for preventing the occurrence of stretch marks in the first place. Rub this mixture softly but regularly on your stretch marks for best results.

 Vitamin C And Sugar
Natural white sugar is regarded as one of the best mediums for exfoliating your skin. Use this for at least 3-5 minutes on your skin every day. It is best if you practice this exfoliating routine while showering. Crush a couple of Vitamin C capsules as finely as you can and then apply them on your skin with the moisturizer of your choice. Apply this mixture on your stretch marks and other skin areas. Then dab a cotton ball or fresh cloth in olive oil and apply it on the stretch marks for better results.

These 3 home remedies for removing stretch marks will greatly reduce the appearance of your stretch marks. Remember that no form of medication can completely hide the stretch marks.

TOOTH STAINS- CAUSES, PREVENTION N TREATMENT

Hello ladies, sorry for not posting so long. I was unwell and under went surgery, but now I have fully recovered. A small little harmless lump on the underside of my tongue had bothered me too much but now its gone and I am safe and happy again.
Today I am going to talk about another embarrassing oral problem- Stained Teeth.  Stained teeth are not a pleasant sight. It adds to your source of worry and can deflate your self confidence.

Causes:- Constant Smoking, Beetle-nut/Pan chewing, drinking too much tea/coffee, improper brushing of the teeth contribute to the yellow stains on teeth.

Treatment:- A professional polishing is inevitable. However, here are some homemade/diy tooth cleansers you may try if staining is not of serious nature.

* Mix half a tspn of soda bicarb with a little water to form a paste consistency. Rub onto your teeth with your finger for a couple of minutes. This brings out the pearly whiteness of your teeth.

* Take a tspn of lemon juice and combine with salt to make a paste. Now massage/rub this paste onto your teeth. This paste helps to get rid of the yellowish tint of your teeth.

* Lemon or orange peel powdered may be used as a teeth whitener.

* Dried and powdered bay leaves combined with dried powdered orange peel is an excellent whitener.

Prevention:-
* Brush teeth after every meal :P

* Avoid too much tea/coffee.

* Chew crunchy carrots and celery leaves.

* Fruits like apples, strawberries bring out the sparkling, pearly whiteness of teeth. Munch on them or simply use a slice to rub your teeth.

* During the orange season, use the inner white part of an orange peel to rub teeth for a lovely white shine.

But if wrinkles have already started showing up on your face...... well you can always try to cure it. Here I have for you today a few anti wrinkles recipes for you all.

1. Keep the skin well moisturized at all times, massage pure almond oil into the skin with gentle upward and outward strokes. Instead pierce a vitamin E capsule and squeeze out the oil and use it on your face. Let your skin soak up the goodness of the oil and wash off, better done at night. Be regular and see the difference.

2. Another way is to massage the skin daily with a mixture of honey and almond oil. Leave it on for a good 20-30 mins before washing off with tepid water. the wrinkles will disappear soon.

3. Massage your face with a mixture of honey and raw milk twice a day for one week to ease out fine lines.

4. Make a paste of milk powder, honey, almond paste and apply on your face for 20 mins. Use this 2-3 times a week and see the benefits for yourself.

5. Make a pack with sandal powder, lemon peel powder, oatmeal, honey and rose water. Apply on face for 20 mins, when dry dab with milk and scrub off gently and wash off. This treatment will polish the skin and iron out the wrinkles.

6. Massage your face gently with a mixture of 2 tsp honey and a pinch of powdered camphor, wash off after 15 mins.

7. Soak a cotton ball/pad in raw milk and apply to your face and let it dry and wash off . Milk is a natural moisturizer.

8. Collect rice starch, the water in which rice has been boiled, and apply on your face after massaging with almond oil. Let it dry and wash off with cold water. It helps tighten skin, remove wrinkles and clean it in one go.

9. Mash a banana and add a tsp of honey, mix well and apply on your face daily. Wash off after 20 mins. It nourishes and moisturizes your skin.

10. Beat the white of an egg till it is stiff. Massage face with a good quality oil and brush in the egg white on to your face and neck. Let it dry completely before washing off. Do this every alternate day for about 10 days. You will get remarkable results.

Be regular and enjoy the difference in your skin. Try out the recipes and please lemme know. Till we meet again, byeee...

NAIL CARE TIPS- DIY SERIES

Hi Babes, after the nail art lets get into caring for the nails. If your nails are not healthy no art will look good on them. So here are some simple tips for your nails.

1. When applying moisturizer/hand cream on the hands, apply some on your nails as well and massage with circular movements over the nails. Olive oil can be used instead of moisturizer/hand cream.

2. Push back cuticles with the corners of the towel or a cotton bud while drying them. Do this everyday after washing hands with soap/ hand wash.

3. While doing household work like washing and cleaning clothes/utensils etc, wear rubber gloves, specially designed for this purpose. This saves your nails from getting cracks and breaking.

4. For stains on your nails, clean off by soaking them in warm soapy water and gently use a nail brush.

5. For thin and brittle nails keep the length short because the longer they grow the weaker they become.

6. Keep an eye on your diet. Take carrots, yogurt, eggs and vitamin supplements regularly.

7. In half a glass of water add half a teaspoon of salt. Mix well and soak nails in it for sometimes everyday, helps in growth.

8. Pointed nails crack easily, so file them to square or round shape. Don't ever use a metal file
.

9. Use a cuticle remover to clean off and remove dead skin. Push back cuticles using a cuticle pusher, always sanitize tools before using them to avoid infections.

10. Before applying nail color always apply 2 coats of nail hardener. This will protect brittle nails.

11. When applying nail color start by painting the tips from side to side. Then apply one stroke on the middle and second and third coats on the sides. Let it dry and reapply another coat.

This is all I have for now. Try out the tips and please let me know how they worked for you. Till we meet again... Byeeee Babes.....
