My Opinion: - I wear Nail Paints at all times and the only gap between 2 manicures is a day at the most, sometimes I just rest my nails overnight and that's it. Next morning I clean my nails with a brush and file them a little. Thereafter I apply a base coat and then apply a shade according to my mood. Today here I am reviewing a pretty red based coral from Elle 18 Nail Pops in the shade 70. I love the little round bottles, they look like ittar/perfume bottles. The glass bottle is sturdy and the black plastic lid is just around 2 inches. The packaging is cute.

             The shade (70) is very bright and neon coral with red undertones. These kind of shades are great for the summers and look great on Indian skin tones. Elle 18 has a huge range of Nail Pops and they cost you only 50 bucks, that's super cheap. But I hate it when brands just number their products instead of naming them. They could have named it Neon Coral, as simple as that. Ok I know I am not creative either :P

                  The polish is quite thin and sheer and has a strong chemical smell which all of us dislike. Atleast 3 coats are required for evenness, the first coat gives a sheer and streak-y look, the second coat gives a semi sheer look and the third coat gives full opacity but for full intensity of the color to show through, a fourth coat is required which I detest and don't have the patience to go for. So I stopped at the 3rd coat and it was kind of ok.

                      The brush is not at all good, leaves behind streaks and gives uneven application. This nail paint stayed on for 5 days but faded and cracked a little but didn't chip a bit. This nail paint was glossy for 2 days after which I applied a glossy top coat and looked freshly applied till I removed it on the 5th day of application. At 50 bucks I couldn't ask for more. This is a fun shade but not wearable to the office/college, its perfect for parties and outings.

Pros:

* Dirt Cheap and easily available

* Very bright summery color- red based coral and that too creme finish <3 <3

* Stayed on for 5 days without chipping

* Would suit most Indian Skin Tones




Cons:

* Needs 4 coats for full intensity but I stopped at 3 coats

* The brush is not the best of quality, gives streaky & uneven application

* Faded on 3rd-4th day and it crinkled/cracked also

* Strong chemical smell puts me off



                  I rate Elle 18 Nail Pops in the shade 70 3.75 out of 5. Inspite of all the cons specially the brush being not so good, I rate it 3.75 just for the lovely bright summery color. Recommended for all girls who love the color Coral.

My Opinion:-
Most of you by now knows how mad I am about nail paints. When the Elle 18 Color Bombs was launched, I had much trouble in laying my hands on the products like most of you. I don't think there is till date no counter/shop with the entire range. Lastly when I got them, I was too sad not to get find the green nail pop anywhere. But I survived the heart break and a couple of months back I literally snatched the green nail pop from the SA when I spotted it.

This one is a gorgeous green, frosty with very very slight silver shimmer in it. The shimmer goes unnoticed when applied on nail, only its visible in the bottle if observed minutely. It is a medium frosty green with slight bluish undertones, a very cool color indeed. It is a fun color good for party wear and nail art. Absolutely not suitable for everyday/office wear.

The packaging is extremely attractive. The cute little round bottles look like perfume/ittar bottles :P The bottle is sturdy glass and about an inch in height. The black plastic lid is nearly 2 inches and the brush attached to it not the best quality I have come across but then I prefer to call it average.

It is easy to apply and two coats wear enough for full opacity. But for full intensity I prefer to apply a third coat for added glamor. The nail polish is thin but not watery and it doesn't take hours to dry. It did stay on my nails for 6 days and faded around the tips from 4th day onwards.

And yeah about the length of the brush, please see the pic and find out yourself. I don't want to say anything about this matter :)

Pros:-
* Lasted for 6 days without chipping but faded a little (I don't perform household work)
* Gorgeous green shade
* Said to be available in 48 shades but dont think anyone has seen all of them
* Easy to take off and easy to apply

Cons:-
* Dont think its DBP free and Toulene free
* Smell is on the stronger side, stays on for a day or two
* Most shades are not available in most shops/counters

I rate this nail pop 4 out of 5. I already have a few other shades from this range and I am happy with its variety and performance. Too much expectation from a nail paint costing only Rs 45 is a sin according to me>

ELLE 18 EYE SPARKLERS- SWATCHES & REVIEW

1.5 gms for INR 80

Shelf life is 24 months from the date of packaging.

My Opinion:- I love blue on my eyes and that's the reason I picked up the blue from this range. These pencils glide on easily without tugging and pulling my eyelids. Though the blue is not a brightly pigmented shade, its subtle and I like that. A couple of swipes are required for a decently colored line. It smudges immediately if my eyelids are not primed but when I use a primer on my eyelids the line would stay on for about 30 mins and then start fading and become much lighter. But without a proper base the color starts fading, smudging and getting smeared. It also creases if used as shadow but then I am not the one to surrender so soon. So now I top it up or simply smudge it with a similar blue shadow. And I am liking the blue shade so much that half of the pencil is now gone :D Right now I am planning to get the green and purple ones.

Pros:- Available in pretty shades

Very Cheap

Packaging also very girlie and attractive

Easy to sharpen

Cons:- Smudges and Creases like hell

Stings like hell if used on the waterline

                   I rate this product 3 out of 5 and I am about to get the green and purple ones.

ELLE 18 LIP SMOOTHIE- SWATCHES N REVIEW

My Opinion:- With all the hype going on about Elle 18 Color Bombs, I immediately got a few products when they were made available in Delhi. This Lip Smoothie is 1 of the many products I bought from that range. Mine is a shade called Peach Afterglow and it gives my lips a peachy nude glow which stays put for an hour or 2. But when I first applied this Lip Smoothie on my lips, I got a burning sensation which was not serious though. The intensity of the sensation kept on decreasing with time and within the next 20-25 mins it was completely gone.
                    It was so uncomfortable wearing it on my bare lips so I decided to wear a lip balm under the lip smoothie. But my plan failed and still I had the problem of a burning/stinging feeling on my lips. Hence I have stopped using this product and returned back to my old fav glosses. Though it cost me only INR 80-85, its a total waste for me. Actually it stings/burns more than most plumpers do. It gives a good shine and I love the nude glow it gives my lips. But then sadly its a big no no for me :(

Pros:- None except the lovely nude look it gives my lips.

Cons:- It dried out my lips with every application, caused burning sensation on my lips, it gets accumulated at the corners of my lips.

            I rate this product 1.5 out of 5 and this I am giving only because I love the shade so much. Its a total waste for me. Do read the reviews of other bloggers before deciding on this lip smoothie.
