Company Says: - Optimals Cleansing Milk effectively removes impurities and makeup, contains calming complex with Cornflower Extract to help calm and soothe your skin. Apply with cotton pad over the face and neck. Rinse with water or remove with a tissue.


Ingredients: - Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Isohexadecane, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Acrylates/C10-30Alkyl Acrlate Crosspolymer, Parfum, BHT, Propylparaben, Centaurea Cyanus Extract, Glycerin, Mentha Arvensis Oil, Mentha Spicata Flower/Leafs/Stem Extract

My Opinion: - I always prefer to use a cleanser to clean up all the makeup, dirt and grime from my face. Though I use makeup remover to clean off waterproof eye makeup and lipstick, mostly I am comfortable using a cleansing milk otherwise. I used Oriflame Protecting 2 in 1 Cleanser which didn't work for me because it fails to clean up my makeup. So I was about to purchase a cleanser from another brand and just then the Oriflame lady came around and advised me to use this cleansing milk and fortunately this was on discount. The rest is history and here I am with its review today.

                 The packaging is mess-free, it is a white plastic bottle with a grey plastic pump dispenser. This packaging is travel friendly but big enough for me to avoid it during my frequent travels. The pump dispenser has a lock and it needs to be turned to right side to unlock. The fragrance is very sweet floral types, I wouldn't mind calling it heavenly. This cleansing milk is thick creamy and  looks like a heavy formulation. But upon massaging it into my skin it seems to be light weight. I take one pump of this cleanser on my palm and massage it into my face and neck. Then I wipe it off with a soft muslin cloth dipped in hot water. Finally I wash off with tepid water and my face is squeaky clean.

                                  This is a cleanser for combination to oily skin, but the company claims it is suited for dry/sensitive skin. It is not very greasy and does not make my skin oily. Though it looks very heavy-creamy, its actually light on my skin. My skin has reacted well to this cleanser and it has not broken out with regular use of this cleanser. It brightens my skin and soothes it. It gives my skin a clean feeling and removes all makeup/dirt-grime without leaving behind any residue. It works well to dissolve the makeup/dirt and grime with ease. I will have this cleansing milk with me for 2 months plus as one pump is enough for one use.
























Pros: -


* Light weight cleanser but very effective

* Didn't break me out

* One pump is enough for one use (covers face & neck)

* Brightens up my skin

* Does not make my skin oily/greasy



Cons: -

* Pricey, I would suggest waiting till this product goes on discount/sale

* Available only through Oriflame Consultants

* Contains Parabens

* Big bottle so not travel friendly for me


                        I rate Oriflame Optimals Cleansing Milk 4.25 out of 5. I would recommend this cleansing to all types of skin types but beauties with combination/oily skin would enjoy it in the winters. A great product from Oriflame.

Ingredients: - Aqua, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Glycerin, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glyceryl Oleate, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrasearate, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Peg-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Saxifraga Sarmentosa, Vitis  Vinifera, Propylene Glycol, Lactic Acid, Methylparaben, Butylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Hexyl Cinnamal, Sodium Metabisulphate, Sodium Sulfite, Ethylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Morus Bombycis, Scutellaria Baicalensis, Benzyl Salicyclate, Glycyrrhiza Glabra.


Vitis Vinifera: is our common grapes and its skin extract, leaf extract and the fruit extract is used for their varied properties in cosmetics. It is mainly used for its skin conditioning and antioxidant properties.

Saxifraga Sarmentosa: is an extract of the herb Strawberry Begonia. It is highly known for its skin conditioning and astringent properties.

Morus Bombycis: is an extract found in mulberries which is often used in cosmetics due to the presence of Arbutin. It controls the production of Melanin thereby naturally lightening the skin. It is also high in antioxidants and has anti-aging properties.

Scutellaria Baicalensis: also known as Baikal Scullcap is a genus of flowering plants of the mint family. Its root is used for medicinal purposes. It is a antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory agent.

Glycyrrhiza Glabra: popularly known as Liquorice is used for its moisturising, emollient, smoothing & soothing properties.

My Opinion: - I picked this foaming cleanser when it was on discount as I love to experiment with different cleansers. I use foaming cleansers on a daily basis (read mornings & nights). I have been using Oriflame since ages now and I always stock up and use Pure Nature Organic Soothing Face Wash on and off for years.  About two weeks back, I started using it on my face and I must say I am happy with the results. The cleanser comes in a white translucent plastic bottle with a a silver grey screw on plastic cap/lid. The packaging is unique as the shape of the bottle is different from most cleansers I have ever used. Upon opening the lid, the neck of the bottle can be seen. It has a hole from which the cleanser can be dispensed when the bottle is turned upside down. As simple as that that. But inspite of the packaging being mess free, I wouldn't carry a 200 ml bottle when I travel.

                   The texture of this foaming cleanser is soft creamy and the consistency is that of a thick liquid. The fragrance is similar to medicated oinments/lotions, not the best of scents I guess. But its not strong enough to put me off. I splash water on my face and pour a blob of this cleanser on the palm of my hand and add a few drops of water and foam it gently and then apply it to my wet face & neck. It foams to some extent not too much even though its called a foaming cleanser. The girls/ladies who like too much lather may not like it. It washes off easily with a few splashes of water, doesn't leave behind that slippery feeling or any kind of residue. After washing off the scent does not linger on for long, it goes off till I use toner etc.
























            This foaming cleanser removes my night cream when I use it in the morning and it cleans off makeup when I use in the evenings. It does its job well by removing every trace of makeup (kajal, lipstick, blush etc). It is not able to remove waterproof mascara, but I don't blame it since nowhere is it mentioned that this cleanser removes makeup. It is very gentle on my skin, it cleans off and controls oil. It's a mild cleanser but truly cleanses and clarifies my skin making it bright. It didn't whiten my skin but it definitely gives a glow. Its a good cleanser but keep it away from your eyes, if it gets into your eyes somehow, it stings like hell. The price is on the higher side but Oriflame always has "sales" going on so wait till this foaming cleanser is on discount.

* Does not dry out my skin, no stretchy feeling after washing off

* Cleanses (dirt, grime, makeup) & Clarifies as claimed

* A blob is enough for one use, this foaming cleanser will stay with me 2-3 months atleast

* Brightens my skin, gives that fresh clean feel

* Washes off easily, does not leave behind that slippery feeling


Cons: -

* Pricey & Available only through Oriflame Consultants

* Smells like medicine

* Foams moderately, this may be a con for some girls

* Big bottle makes it difficult to carry along while travelling



             I rate Oriflame Optimals White Foaming Cleanser 4.5 out of 5. Its a good cleanser which is working well for me. It recommend it to all beauties who can get hold of Oriflame Consultants and provided this product is on sale/discount.

               Hello Beauties,  today I have this simple but gorgeous nail art to share. Here I have used Viviana Nail Lacquer in VNL021 Moody Concoction which is a gorgeous golden beige very slight finely milled gold shimmer. I topped it with Faces golden glitter and placed the stones and some small bindis randomly and finally applied two coats of top coat. Here are the pics for you to enjoy.

My Opinion: - Like you all know I love nail paints to the point of insanity, I haul bottles & bottles of colorful nail paints every month. Now I do not have any space left in my cabinets/dresser etc so I have planned to purchase a chest (of drawers) to store my nail paints & makeup in general. I hauled some Biotique makeup products and this nail paint was an impulse buy. I could not get the idea of the shade just by the name but I finally gave in thinking that a plum nail paint would look somewhere near "Plum".So when I received the packet, the first thing I checked was the nail paint and I was very happy to see a warm plummy shade in the bottle.

ARTIFICIAL LIGHT

                     Ok now coming back to the review, this nail color is numbered 235 and named Royal Plum. Its a pretty plum with brown undertones. I love to wear warm shades during the winters and plum is always in. Two coats are enough for full opacity and intensity. The shades looks exactly same on my nails as in the bottle. I always apply a top coat to make my manicure long lasting but this nail polish is quite glossy on its own and I am not wearing a gloss/top coat in the images here. It starts to fade around the tips from the 4th day onwards and chips from the 6th day onwards. I don't keep a manicure on for that long actually but when I need to test its a different story altogether.

NATURAL LIGHT

            The packaging is nothing special, a squarish bottle with a matte black squarish lid. It is very affordable at Rs 90 for 11 ml. The company claims that its a non-toxic long-lasting formula. Rightly so because the smell is not very strong and it did not stain my nail. Ofcourse I wear a base coat underneath all polishes. I can safely say that most claims are true as it dries faster than most other polishes in winter also.

* Warm plummy shade, would suit most Indian skin tones
