Megaplumes in shade ‘Oxblood Panache’ (£24)

Launch: March 2013

‘Oxblood’ is the latest colour to be released in the MEGAPLUMES Dramatic
Lash Mascara range. This rich-red hue, more darkly exotic than its black
counterpart, looks subtly striking when worn with many of our eye shadows.

This deep red jewel tone, as seen on runways from Gucci and Chanel to
Alexander McQueen and Derek Lam, is very wearable and is universally
flattering with blue, hazelnut and green eyes. It brings out your individual
eye-colour, offering a supremely chic effect.

“This black based burgundy is subtle in colour but looks amazing on everyone and will really make the natural colour of your eyes pop. Previously limited
to being a good make-up artist’s fashion secret, we’re looking forward to
introducing you to your new mascara obsession.”

Indulge in the Fruity Sensation of Oriflame Nature Secrets Range- PR INFO

Thank you and have a great evening :)

5 ml for INR 50

Company Says: - Brilliant color that lasts long on your nails.

Ingredients: - Not Listed

My Opinion: - Streetwear nail paints comes in fun colors, some are really very pretty. Today I have Glazed Green on my nails which is a greyish green muted kind of a color. It just has a slight green sheen to it with lots of grey undertones. Its one of those very pretty neutral pearly shade which I am loving these days. It can be worn to office, college, party, in short it is suitable for all occasions.

              Two coats are enough for full opacity, and I like the brush which is quite good for this price. The brush does not give streaky- uneven application but gives even finish. The bottle is squarish, cute and a small one which contains only 5 ml, hope to finish it up soon :D This nail paint is thin and gloppy, also it dried very soon and I didn't have to sit for a long time for it to get dry. The smell is not very strong and unpleasant.

                           The  nail color stayed on my nails without a top coat for 5 days, after that I took it off myself. There was slight fading around the tips on my right hand nails but the color stayed on well on my left hand nails without any fading. There was no chipping till the day I removed the nail color and for a nail color that's so cheap, its a great quality. Its was glossy enough for the first two days of application but after that the glossiness was gone. I didn't wear a top/gloss coat while taking the photos. Its quite easy to remove, its not stubborn and didn't discolor my nails.

Pros: -

* Dirt cheap and available in most shops

* Available in wide array of colors, shades available for all moods/ocassions

* Didn't chip till the fifth day

* Just a little fading around the tips

* Brush quality is good, actually better than many other brands

* Dries fast and does not stain my nails

Cons: -

* Ingredient list is not available

* It's not much of a green, the name is kind of misleading or I can say it does not come out same on the nails as it looks in the bottle.

                I rate this Streetwear Color Rich Nail Enamel- 18 Glazed Green 4.25 out of 5. Sorry if I sound a little partial, but you all know my love for nail paints :D This one is a must try for all those who love muted pearly colors.

Hope you enjoyed the review and the notd. Please do share your experiences with muted nail colors with us and leave behind your precious comments. Thank you and have a great evening :)

9 ml for INR 110

Company Says: - The nail polish is a simple one stroke application and fortifies the nail while giving them a high shine and intense color. It is fast drying and chip resistant. It does not yellow the nail and is long lasting; just what you need to make your hands looks salon perfect!

Ingredients: - Not Listed

My Opinion: - I keep changing nail polish every 4-6 days. And this way I am able to take good care of my nails. I keep my nails bare for one whole day and then go for a self manicure and finally apply polish. So this time I chose Colorbar Nail Lacquer in 12 Espresso. It is a pearly beige shade with slight brownish undertones. I like these kind of neutral shades and I just realized that inspite of being in love with Colorbar products I haven't reviewed ANY of their products. Shocking, isn't it?

                   Coming back to the review, this nail paint is very thin and not very well pigmented. I needed 4 coats for full opacity. It is neither glossy nor matte but its pearly with a subtle glow effect. It does not dry soon and therefore you have to wear it in leisure.

                    The brush is of good quality and gives even and non-streaky application. The length and size of the brush too is great for full control. It stayed chip free for 4-5 days and there was no noticeable fading at the tips. And truly it did not stain my nails.

Pros: -

* Affordable and Easily Available

* Long Lasting

* Stayed chip free for 5 days

* Very pretty neutral shade

* Thankfully this shade has a name :P

* Didn't stain my nails

Cons: -

* No ingredient list

* Not very well pigmented (applies only for this particular shade)

* Takes some time to dry

             I rate this Colorbar Nail Lacquer in 12 Espresso 4 out of 5 because I love this shade. In general I am in love with most Colorbar products. Its a must try for girls who love neutral shades. Perfect office/school wear. Gives a polished look to my hands and I think this shade will suit many skin tones.

Hope you enjoyed my review, do leave behind your precious comments and share with us experiences with Colorbar Nail Lacquers. Thank you and have a great weekend :)

**Please excuse the very awful application, I messed up the nails while going to take the pics**
