My Opinion: - Liquid liners are a staple in my makeup kit, the basic Blacks & Browns are a must along with the Blues & Purples & what-nots. So today I have chosen my HG black eye liner, it is Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner in Black. This eye liner comes in a black tiny plastic tube, the applicator brush is much longer than the actual tube containing the liner. The tube is tiny, a little over 1 inch and the applicator is a little under 3 inches. The screw-on elongated brush makes the packaging mess-free and travel-friendly. 

                   This liquid liner smells like commercial ink if you inhale directly from the tube but otherwise it is basically fragrance-free as you will not get the inky-smell upon application. The liner is intensely pigmented and I would call it Jet Black like most of my blogger friends have described it. The formula is liquidy but not runny or watery nor is it dry, it's more of a gel-like. A single swipe is more than enough to give definition to my eyes. I suggest you avoid multiples swipes as this makes it flake off after 4-5 hours. The liner dries in a jiffy and you don't have to close your eyes and keep waiting for it to dry, it takes a maximum of 20 seconds to dry up. I use it in the mornings when I am pressed for time.

                                   This eye liner is glossy and you can see this when light hits your eyes or out in day light. It stays glossy and looks just applied whole day, I love the fresh look it gives to my eyes all throughout the day. The glossiness does not fade or becomes matte which makes me love it. The liner does not smudge or budge from its place even on my oily lids until I choose to remove it. The brush applicator is very fine and gives control over the thickness or thinness of the line I choose to apply. The brush is perfect for wings, flicks and near about anything. The brush picks up enough product for each eye and is very similar to Lakme Absolute Shine Line brush but a tad bit thicker.

                                Finally coming to the waterproof claim, its totally false. This eye liner is water-resistant as you can see in the below pics where I have shown the swatch unmoved after splashing with water but if you disturb the liner after it comes in contact with water, it smudges and is gone in seconds. But even if the liner is not disturbed after coming in contact with water, it will stay put as it is and this property of this product is called water-resistant and not waterproof.This eye liner otherwise stays on till I remove it say 8+ hours. But I thing which bothers me is the quantity of product which is way too less, if used daily I guess it would finish off in about 45 days. All other claims made by the brand are correct to my knowledge and therefore it is a near HG Liquid Black Liner.

VERY FINE BRUSH APPLICATOR FOR PRECISION

                   I rate Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner in Black 4.5 out of 5 for its ease of application, glossiness and super fine brush applicator. If you love glossy eye liners and don't have the habit of messing up with your eyes, then yes this one could be your favorite liquid liner. But as for the waterproof claim, nope its water-resistant. Recommended and my near HG black liquid liner.

My Opinion:- Eyeliners are a great way to define and highlight the eyes. The face looks brighter when the eyes are lined. I cannot do without eyeliners and have been using Lakme, Oriflame and Revlon eyeliners since many years now. This is my first eyeliner from Maybelline and I bought it last year but didn't use much of it since I was using 2 other eyeliners. This gel eyeliner comes in a tiny glass tub with a screw-in lid, very cute =D It is fragrance free and at first application I was a happy girl. Since I am used to applying eyeliner with extra brush, I had no problem with the brush that came along with it. The brush is soft and very nice since it allows full control on the fine-ness or thickness of the line and also the style of the line.

                       These days I am using it daily and loving it very much. I have sensitive eyes and I don't use liquid liners on my waterline, but when I tried this gel liner on my waterline, I was very much satisfied. The liner stayed on for a long time before fading off gradually. It is intense black and doesn't smudge of fade, nor does it budge from its place unless I remove it with my Avon Eye Makeup Remover, face washes don't seem to help much in this case since some residue is left behind. This gel liner doesn't melt in hot conditions when I am sweating, also it stays on my oily lids without primer or powder. One of the best eyeliners I have ever used.

Pros:- Affordable, cute and travel friendly packaging, all claims made by the company are true.

                     I rate this product 5 out of 5. I am loving it and creating different styles daily :D Thanks to Maybelline for this fabulous gel liner.

Fast Drying Smudge Proof Eyeliner

My Opinion:- I always like to line my eyes to make them attractive. Whether or not I apply eyeshadow on my eyes, I simply line my eyes with a black liner. Revlon Fabuliner is one the best I have used till date. I started with Lakme High Definition Eyeliner and now I use a number of eyeliners from various brands in all possible colors. Last year when I went looking out for it, the SAs told me it was discontinued :( But a few months back I spotted it in a Revlon counter and bought it. Now coming to the main topic, I like this product very much as it is not very thick but dries fast, within seconds of lining my eyes. I having been using this bottle since last year and its still as fresh as new. Revlon Fabuliner stays put for the whole day till I take it off myself. Any makeup remover or face wash cleans it off easily. The entire day/night it doesn't budge even a little and it is far away from smudging if you are not in the habit of touching your eyes. 
  

                  It is waterproof but to a certain degree, I never use it during the monsoons :P A single swipe might not be enough if you are looking for a jet black line like I do. It comes with a brush attached to its long wand so no worries about carrying a brush along if you are traveling, the slender tubes makes it purse friendly. But apart from being slender, the packaging I think is ugly :/, black plastic cheap looking bottle with shiny golden long cap. Another sad thing is that the fine tipped-brush gives away after a while, maybe I get the defected pieces :P :D Not a problem for me tough, since I use a Vega eyeliner brush for the purpose. It smells kind of 'rosy' similar to Revlon Water Tight Mascara. But the smell is not unpleasant or overpowering so no issues. I happy happy with it because I can control the amount of product as well the thickness of the line I need to make. Also I can do up any eyeliner style with this tube.

Cons:- The brush is useless after a point of time it gives away, need extra brush,

Is not waterproof as the company suggest, splash your eyes with water... It will stay but lighten but rub it when its wet and it goes off.

Packaging is cheap looking.

                   I rate this product 4 out of 5 and I will surely repurchase it again.

LAKME HIGH DEFINITION EYELINER- SWATCHES & REVIEW

My Opinion:- Lakme High Definition Eyeliner is the first eyeliner I ever used, I was a student then. It comes with a felt tip applicator which is easy to control. As a novice it gave me superb control over the intensity of the line. It is jet black and a single swipe is enough to give my eyes a very intense line. I just love this quality in a liner. Also the pointed felt tip makes it easier to line the lower lash line, tough I never use it on my waterline, my friend does and is happy with the outcome. It is smudge proof but you have to be a little careful in the summers as sweat and touch combined together can ruin your line.
         
                   It is waterproof and stays put till I myself take it off. It refuses go with a face wash or a regular cleanser though a makeup remover cleans it in a single wipe. Its felt tip helps to get any kind of line I fancy. I love the cute little bottle with the slender long cap and the smell is kind of 'rosy' like Lakme's mascara or their liquid liners, actually all liquid eyeliners have the same smell :D I am using this tube since last year but its still as liquidy as new and it dries fast when I line my eyes with it.

Pros:- Tiny tube so it can be carried in the tiniest of purses

Long lasting, waterproof, jet black

Cons:- Lakme has hiked up the prices :( it was much cheaper when I first bought it. A combination of touching and humidity can ruin the eyes but normally its smudge proof.

          
           I rate this product 4.5 out of 5 because its my first ever eyeliner. I will repurchase it again and again since I like it so much for daily use :D

Nail polishes are an obsession with me, I buy all known brands- big or small. So I got these Avon Simply Pretty new launches, Glitter Galaxy 17537 and Deeply Maroon 17538, each priced at INR 55 but I got 2 for INR 79 :D




Next I fell for this Metallic Liquid Eyeliner in Shimmering Silver 17507 priced at INR 149 but then I got it for INR 119 :D




Another love in color cosmetics is the dear old lipstick, I always try to find a perfect red for myself so this time it is the Color Bliss Lipstick in Cherry Red from Avon priced at INR 125 but then I got it for INR 85 :P




Oh forgot to tell you about the Ultra Color Rich Lipstick, the shade I chose is Mosaic Plum 17225. And the Glimmersticks Lip Liner- I chose the shade Nude 17062
