Shelf Life: 3 years

My Opinion: - There has been an overload of brush reviews in BDI, for a change here I am reviewing Avon's Fairness Exfoliation Face Wash. I use exfoliating face wash regularly specially in the summers and this time I chose this one from Avon. The packaging of the face wash is very pretty and girly. The plastic tube is a pin and white gradient with a navy blue screw-on cap. This tube is travel friendly as well as hygienic. Its a small tube and can be thrown into your purse for emergencies.

                    The fragrance of this exfoliating face was is sweet and fruity. I think it will be liked by most people even by the ones with sensitive noses. The testure is that of a clear gel, not thick but not even runny. The gel is infused with very tiny grains which are not visible to the naked eyes. But these grains are extremely mild and non-gritty. I take out a blob of this face wash on the back of my hand and gently massage it onto my wet face for a minute or two. I wash off by splashing water and it goes off easily. The grains are gentle on my skin but gives a good polishing and cleansing. It brightens and adds a glow to the skin temporarily.

                     I have been using it on and off  for sometimes now (2 months) and the tube is nearly over now. I think daily use will give 40+ days of product and since I have not been using it frequently, the tube still has a few uses of product left in it. Therefore its affordable at Rs 95 and you need a small blob for every use. This face wash lathers a little and beauties who love their face washes to foam a lot might not like this. It removes light makeup (moisturiser, compact powder) effortlessly. It gives a clean and fresh feel to my skin after using it making it soft and supple. For the past one week I have been using it daily just to finish it off and it has not irritated my skin or dried it. Perfect for daily use.

Pros: -

* Affordable

* Mild exfoliation

* Gentle on skin

* Didn't irritate my skin or break me out

* All claims made by the brand are true

* Cleans, softens and  brightens my skin

Cons: -

* Contains Parabens (most products do)

*  None actually

             I rate Avon Care Fairness Exfoliation Face Wash 4.5 out of 5 as it is very affordable and cleans my skin perfectly. With regular use, this tube of face was will take 40+ days to get over. It didn't irritate my oily acne prone skin and didn't dry out my skin with daily use. Avon claims this face wash is suitable for all skin types, but I have doubts very dry skin beauties might not like it as much as oily skin beauties would.

Hope this review helped you in some way and do leave behind your sweet comments and also tell us about your favorite Exfoliating Face Wash. Thank you and have a great Sunday afternoon :)

LAKME NOURISHING GLOW CLEAN UP FACE WASH- REVIEW

With Strawberry Extracts

25 gm for INR 40

Company Says: - Face Wash contains Iodine.

Caution: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact rinse thoroughly with clear water.

Ingredients: - Aqua, Glycerine, Carbomer, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocoamidoproply Betaine, Perfume, Sodium Hydroxide, Micocrystalline Wax Beads White, Micocrystalline Wax Beads Red, Menthol, Propylene Glycol, Fragaria Vesca (Strawberry) Fruit Extract, CI 14700, CI 17200, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butyl Carbamate

My Opinion: - Lakme recently (ok not so recently) launched the  Nourishing Glow Clean Up Range. The product I am going to review first is the Face Wash, its Rs 40 but I got it for free :P The packaging is very attractive, red tiny tube with a white translucent screw-on cap. There is enough product for 12 or 15 days max.

                  The texture of this red gel is very smooth and the consistency is thick. This red gel comes with white and red micro beads which are not much exfoliating and are gentle on my skin.The fragrance is similar to Strawberries and I love this mild and sweet scent. The scent lingers on for about 10 mins before fading off. I used it once a day, in the mornings only. This cleans off my skin without leaving any residue. My skin feels soft and smooth.

                      Its dirt cheap and available in almost all shops from grocery stores to beauty stores etc etc. The skin does not feel stretchy and I haven't experience any irritation or break outs. Over all a decent face wash and can be carried in the purse at all times. Nothing special or extra ordinary about the product except the price :P

Pros: -

* The price!!! Rs 40 only and that too a Lakme product

* Easily Available

* Cleans off well and does not leave behind any residue

* Tiny tube packaging fits into most purses, are travel-friendly and hygeinic

* Good fragrance and pretty red gel with exfoliating red & white micro beads

THE SWATCH- HOPE YOU CAN SEE THE RED & WHITE BEADS

Cons: -

Contains SLS

                I rate Lakme
Nourishing Glow Clean Up  Face Wash 3.75 out of 5. This is a normal face wash, nothing special or extra-ordinary about it. At Rs 40 you have nothing to loose.

Hope this review helped you in some way. Thank you for reading this review and please do leave behind your experience with Lakme Face Washes. Have a great time ahead :)

My Opinion: - I have oily skin which is at its peak during the hot days, so using a face wash is not enough. This is where a exfoliating face wash comes handy. Today I am reviewing Avon’s Naturals Tea Tree Oil & Green Tea Purifying Face Wash. I love Avon products and some of its skin care range are hits with me. And with lots of positive thoughts I began using this exfoliating face wash but only once a day. The packaging is simple mint green tube which is very refreshing to look at, it comes with screw on cap which has a flip open lid as well. This kind of good packaging makes it travel friendly.

                          This exfoliating face wash is a transparent gel with not so tiny bright blue particles which are not very abrasive, the gel is a little runny though. The fragrance is very refreshing and somewhat similar to tea tree oil. This face wash foams well and is extremely gently on my oily skin. I use it every morning and just a single pump is enough for my face & neck. It cleans off the accumulated oil from the surface of my skin and makes it smooth and soft thereby giving it a radiant look. It controls oil for a couple of hours and prepares my skin for my morning skin care/makeup routine.

                            The blue granules are very gentle on my skin and does not make my skin red. I wet my face and gently massage the gel all over my face & neck with light hands, avoiding the eye/mouth area. These blue granules seem to melt while massage, and makes my face free from black/white heads. The active ingredients in this face wash, tea tree oil & green tea, are excellent for oily skin and maybe that’s the reason this product is suiting my skin so well. It makes my skin clean and oil-free, what more can I expect from it. This face wash will be perfect for combination and oily skin. so girls go ahead and order one for yourselves.

Pros: -

* Affordable at Rs 149 for 100 ml, a single pump is enough for a day’s use

* Even though it’s a exfoliating face wash with not so tiny granules, its extremely gentle on my skin

* My skin hasn’t broken out till now, also I haven't faced problems of irritation etc

* This face wash is mild enough, it doesn't make my skin red

* The fragrance is very refreshing and also my skin feels cool and fresh after use

* Controls oil for a couple of hours atleast

Cons: -

* Contains SLS and Parabens

* Avon has this bad habit of taking off good products every now and then

               I rate this Avon Naturals Tea Tree Oil & Green Tea Purifying Face Wash 4.5 out of 5. I am loving it right now as it is giving refreshing feel and smooth look to my skin this summer. Girls if you have oily skin, go ahead and get your hands on this face wash. A hit again with Avon Skin Care.
