My Opinion: - There have been a lot of Brands launching Tinted Moisturizers and called them BB Creams. Anyways, I was a little intrigued when our very own Lakme was sitting silently. And then one fine day they jumped a step ahead and launched the so-called CC Cream. But please don't be mistaken by the term 'CC' as in case of Lakme it is "Complexion Care" instead of the original concept of "Color Correcting" or "Color Control". Now coming back to the review of Lakme CC Cream, it comes boxed in a dark metallic pink cardboard box with the word Lakme in silver fonts. Inside the box rests the golden beige tube with a silver screw-on cap which makes the product travel safe, hygienic and easy to dispense. Its nearly a month I have been using it, but not on a daily basis. Here I am reviewing the Shade "Beige" which is good for fair to medium and suits me to the T. But I can tell you here itself that I am liking the product a lot. Read on to know why.....

               Now coming to the fragrance part, which is a big deal for me, I don't seem to like it a lot. I know the fragrance is typical Lakme scent which you would get in their sunscreens, some of the foundations and specially the Perfect Radiance Intense Whitening Compact. But for some reason I am not liking the artificial kind of scent with a slight floral touch in this CC Cream. Thankfully this scent fades off upon application and totally goes off after a couple of minutes or so. The texture of this CC Cream is very creamy and thick looking but actually it is somewhere in between a cream and a lotion. The consistency is buttery, creamy and light-weight. Now blending it is very easy, apply it on dots all over face & neck and blend out with fingertips. Within seconds it is gone and my skin looks like it has nothing on it, it looks naturally even tone and beautiful.

                    I dare not apply my regular moisturizer underneath this CC Cream as it makes my skin oily in no time. I skip, though I know I should not, moisturizer and apply this cream all over my face & neck and spread with fingertips, not much blending is required, just spreading and patting with fingertips is enough to give my skin an even tone. It gives a semi-matte look at first but settles down to a more dewy kind of look. I layer this cream under my eyes, on uneven skin around my mouth and over the red pimples which are still sitting pretty on my face. Inspite of this layering it does not give that caked-up look instead gives that not-made-up look which we all want to achieve. This Cream minimizes the pores around my nose which I never expected from it. Apart from this, it hydrates well enough and since I have very oily skin I am not much liking this quality :P But dry to normal skin beauties will love this CC Cream for this very quality I suppose.

                   Coming to the staying power of this CC Cream, it stays on my skin the entire day without fading, disappearing or signs of blotchiness. But it makes my skin shiny as well greasy in about 4-5 hours when I am in Air-Conditioned environment and 2+ hours when I am in non-air condition environment. I have to use blotting sheets specially on my T-zone and dust my face with a translucent powder atleast twice a day, sometimes 3 times before I reach home from office. This CC Cream gives sheer to medium coverage and is buildable without the cakey look. It blurs out the spots and flaws and hides slight circles under my eyes but I have serious doubts that this CC Cream does not have the ability to cover up major flaws. It truly keeps the skin fresh looking through out the day but not without your dose of translucent powder. I use it on days when my skin looks good naturally and can do without a the coverage of a foundation and concealer. Also I donot need an extra layer of sunscreen on my face & neck since this cream comes with SPF 20 and mostly (90% of the time) I sit in my office. But if I had to travel or stay out in the sun for some reason and I would not skip my sunscreen.

Pros:

* Most claims are true (Protects, hydrates, brightens, freshens, even out the skin & conceals to some extent)

* Gives sheer to medium coverage

* Gives a not-made-up look, even after layer

* Does not cakes up

* Stays on my skin for the entire day, but with 2-3 times of re-touchings

* Blends like a dream

* Works so well when priced at Rs 250, that makes me happy

Cons:



* SPF is low at 20

* Makes my skin oily and I need to keep doing touch-ups

* I don't seem to like the fragrance, but that's only me

* Only 2 shades cannot do justice to all the beautiful warm Indian Skin Tones


* Comes off easily on anything it comes in contact with, say tissues, collars, cell phone screen etc




                   I rate Lakme CC (Complexion Care) Cream in Beige 4 out of 5 since the cons are not that serious. The texture of this cream will very well suit dry & normal skin but during these hot & humid summers it is not definitely for oilies like me. If like me you sit in the AC whole day, then also you would need  touch-ups if you are as conscious as me. There has been a lot of difference of opinion regarding the shades- "Beige" & "Bronze", so it is necessary to check the shades for yourself in the stores itself for a good match. Well girlies, go ahead and indulge in India's first CC Cream, at Rs 250 you have nothing much to lose.

My Opinion: - After all my blogger friends have reviewed the Pond's White Beauty All-in-1 BB+ Fairness Cream, I am finally here today to review it. This BB+ Cream comes in just one shade 'Natural Cover' which will not suit dusky skin tones. The packaging is very cute, a white opaque slim tube with a silver cap. Since the screw-on cap closes tight it is safe and convenient to carry it along during travels and also for touch ups. Since the tube is so slim, it fits the slimmest purse with ease. The fragrance is sweet floral, trademark of Ponds, very mild and girly kind.

                       This BB+ Cream is thickish just like foundations but its light-weight. The texture is buttery but it takes time to blend, if not properly blended it will give your face a streaky look. I feel the best way to blend it in is to use your fingertips but right now I am using Oriflame Foundation Brush as I have a number of break outs. Well it didn't irritate my skin or gave further break outs. This BB+ Cream is very creamy and "oilies" like me would need to powder their face after applying this cream but dry skin beauties will love the creaminess. They would not require a moisturiser underneath this BB+ Cream as it itself is quite moisturising especially in the summer time. But in the dry winters definitely a moisturiser beneath this BB+ Cream would be a better idea.

                     




















                        This BB+ Cream gives an even look to my skin and the light under-eye circles are covered well. The coverage is sheer but can be built up to medium if required. It does not cover spots and other flaws but lightens them or you can say blurs them out. This BB+ Cream gives an artificial white cast immediately upon application which goes off in 5+ mins. The only shade Natural Cover would not suit dusky Indian Beauties, which is a big shame on Ponds. The BB+ Cream stays on for the entire day on my skin but it does make my t-zone shiny. I have to touch up with a compact/loose powder every 4 hours if I am in an air-conditioned environment and every 2+ hours if I am in a non air-conditioned environment.

 This BB+ Cream gives fresh and even look to my skin. It conceals the redness around my nose and of my pimples. I have minor flaws and it hides them with ease, but I don't think this BB+ Cream will be able to hide dark spots or major flaws & imperfections. It gives a semi-matte kind of dewy look to the skin which looks very natural. But later on it becomes a little shiny/greasy and I have to dust my skin with a good powder. Even though it gives a whitish cast for the first few minutes upon application, later on it adapts to the my natural skin tone. This only shade 'Natural Cover' will suit fair to medium skin tones but dusky beauties will get a grey look. It is my go to product this week.

* Gives an artificial whitish cast which disappears after 5-7 mins, that's because of the SPF 30

* Does not cover major spots and flaws but they look lighter

* Needs proper & fast blending or it gives a streaky look




                 I rate Ponds White Beauty All-In-One BB+Cream with SPF 30 PA++ 4.25 and let me tell you this BB+ Cream is not even near our much loved Pond's Tinted Moisturiser. As for me I do not need too much coverage on a daily basis. It's a must try for college girls and office goers as it can give a fresh & even look without heavy coverage. But then the blending takes a little practice and patience. Nice BB Cream but nothing in comparison to the beloved TM.

My Opinion:-
After trying Ponds and Biotique Tinted Moisturiser, I thought of laying my hands on the Oriflame Very Me Peach Me Perfect Skin Glow Bronzing Moisturiser. As I love this brand and also love experimenting with different makeup products, I bought this when I saw this on discount. Its a black plastic tube with orange screw on lid. Therefore its very hygienic and travel friendly. Since the tube is so small I think it will go into most purses with ease.

The fragrance is similar to fresh peaches, though its a little artificial. I love this since I love fruity fragrances. This tinted moisturiser comes in 2 shades namely, Light & Dark. I got the one in Light and I proud to tell you all that it suits my skintone perfectly. The texture of this tinted moisturiser is thin like lotion but still not runny. I need only a pea size blob for my face and neck as this tinted moisturiser spreads so easily on my skin and my fingers are enough to blend it in.

It is very moisturising and perfect for my now combination skin. It gives a dewy glow to my skin and also moisturises it to keep it soft & supple. But in the summers this TM made my skin a little greasy, I had to dust my skin with loose powdps at bay. The glow I think comes from the minute shimmer particles in the TM which is nearly invisible upon application. And also this TM comes with a peachy undertone which gives my skin a lovely radiance.

Coming to the coverage, its sheer, practically gives no coverage. It is unable to hide undereye dark circles, but evens out the complexion. Also it cant hide imperfections on the skin which is a big disappointment. The lasting power is around about 4 hours under non-ac conditions but in an air conditioned environment is more than 4 hours, could be around 5+ hours. Its easy to remove, wash off with face wash and its gone. This TM melts in the sweat but doesn't become blotchy or patchy.

Pros:-
* Gives a dewy glow to my skin

* Shimmer particles are not obvious, they illuminate the face

* A tiny blob is all I need for 1 application

* Blending with fingertips is more than enough, brush/sponge not needed

* The shade 'Light' suits me perfectly and I totally love the peachy undertone it comes with

Cons:-
* Fades off after say 4+ hours, but doesn't leave my face naked

* Have to set with loose powder as I have oily skin but in winters I don't think I will need to dust my face with powder

* Pricey compared to the other 2 'much talked about' tinted moisturisers available in the market

* Sheer coverage, will cover minor flaws only but not undereye dark circles

* Available only in 2 shades- Light & Dark

* Contains Parabens

I rate this tinted/bronzing moisturiser 4 out of 5 (-0.75 for being available in only 2 shades & sheer coverage). But I have already finished this tube and going back to my Ponds TM.
