Oriflame Says :- Kiss harsh, unforgiving lighting goodbye forever! Available in 5 Shades:

* Porcelain
* Fair Nude
* Olive Beige
* Natural Beige
* Tanned beige

My Opinion :- The last foundation I tried was Oriflame Everlasting Foundation, then I got lost in the crowd of BB Creams and man let me tell you I have them all. But today I have another foundation from Oriflame and that too in two different shades- Fair Nude & Olive Beige. Luckily for me both shades suited my skin tone pretty well. Oriflame has a vast range of foundations and I have not tried much from them, the first one I think is the Everlasting one which I loved a lot for its long staying power. Since these are the second ones, I was very excited about them as well. To know my experience with these foundations read on girlies.....

                        Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Foundation tube comes boxed in a black cardboard box which carries all the necessary information like the ingredient list, product details, manufacturing and expiry dates respectively. The actual foundation comes in a translucent plastic tube which corresponds to the shade of foundation inside the tube, with black fonts and a black screw-on cap. This tube packaging is classy, hygienic as well as travel-friendly. The neck of the tube (nozzle) is blunt like medicated ointments and gets messy, so once in a while I need to clean off the nozzle and the cap with a tissue.

SWATCH- OLIVE BEIGE

SWATCH- FAIR NUDE

                               Now let's come to the shades but before that I shall tell you a little about my skin tone and type. I have fair to medium skin tone with yellow undertones and my skin is generally oily but as the days are getting colder, my skin has become more of a combination type. The shade Olive Beige suits me very well as it comes with yellow undertones but surprisingly the shade Fair Nude is for fair but suits me too as it has neutral undertones. Both the shades look a little whiter when applied and gradually they adapt to the skin tone, that happens within a few minutes. Both these shades as you can see from the swatch pics don't differ much from each other, they are a tad bit different. These foundations do not leave behind the much hated whitish cast inspite of containing SPF 15 and surprisingly photographs well.

SWATCH SPREAD- OLIVE BEIGE (L) FAIR NUDE (R)

                            The texture of these foundations is runny but not watery though they are buttery soft to the touch and looks creamy. The fragrance is very mild and negligible, nothing overpowering or medicinal like the Everlasting Foundation. Only a pea-sized amount is required to cover the entire face and neck. I don't apply a moisturiser underneath this foundation as it is moisturizing enough in itself but if you have dry skin you would need to moisturize properly before slathering on the Studio Artist Foundations. The coverage however might not be liked by all, it's sheer to light and layer only causes a build-up of product.

                           It evens out the skin tone and gives the feeling of My Skin But Better (if there exist such a term...lol). These ones would definitely hide minor skin flaws, little bit of redness and slight skin discolorations but ladies with major blemishes,flaws, heavy under-eye circles and lot of redness would undoubtedly need the help of a concealer.These foundations give a dewy glow to the skin which we all love to flaunt during the cold days. But then sadly it makes my T-zone shiny within a couple of hours even in an air-conditioned environment. Nothing that a good translucent powder/compact powder can't fix.

                              The staying power is a little low considering the price, the foundation starts to fade off after 5 hours max after which it evaporates, I mean it totally disappears suddenly and you are left with a stark naked face. But a quality primer definitely increases its longevity, say upto 7 hours max after that it fades off evenly. Fortunately I am working for 6 hours these days and I am using one these two Studio Artist Foundations on a daily basis depending on my mood. I have tried applying the foundation with my two most beloved brushes- Real Techniques Buffing Brush & Sigma F80, both gave good results but I felt my fingertips worked the best for me with these foundations. These comes with SPF 15 but photographs well, which is great quality in foundations that comes with added sun protection. Another plus point I forgot to mention above is that these foundations do not oxidize on my skin.

 Pros:

* Light-weight foundation
* Blends easily with fingertips

* Sheer to minimum coverage, good for everyday wear

* Evens out the skin tone

* Non-cakey

* SPF 15, but does not leave  behind a whitish cast

* Photographs wells

* Hides minor flaws

* Does not oxidize, stays color true

* 5 shades will cover all Indian Skin Tones I suppose

Cons:

* Oriflame consultants are difficult to come by

* Expensive for a minimum coverage foundation

* Staying power is not good

                  I rate Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Foundations 4 out of 5. I love the texture and feel of the foundation but the staying power is less. I don't mind wearing a sheer coverage foundation as I have no acne or any other skin problem right now. Highly recommended to girls who want to flaunt naturally healthy looking skin.

Hope you enjoyed my review, do leave behind your precious comments and share with us your experience with Oriflame Foundations. Thank you and have a wonderful Tuesday :)

Oriflame Says :- Give your cheeks a natural wash of colour with Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Cream Blush. Famed for its long lasting properties and easy application, the cream blush is a must have makeup item in your beauty kit.The weightless formula of the blush blends easily into skin while the creamy texture sculpts and highlights the cheeks to give a healthy glow. Comprising light reflecting Illuma Flair Complex, the cream blush provides a buildable colour while creating soft- focus effect in any light. Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Cream Blush gives a radiant shine without looking oily.

Ingredients :- Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Mica, Paraffinum Liquidum, Isopropyl Myristate, Octyldodecanol, Talc, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Ceteth-20, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Carbomer, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Silica, Parfum, Tin Oxide

Available in three vivacious shades:

* Soft Peach
* Pink Glow
* Sheer Berry

My Opinion :- The perfect time to take out your cream blushes is in the cold days that is if you have oily skin like me. I totally adore my cream blushes from Ellis Faas and Nyx but these days I am totally blown off by the newly launched Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Cream Blushes. The brand sent me two shades out of the three- Soft Peach and Pink Glow. But let me tell you in the very beginning that these cute little cream blushes will suit all skin types at all times. Read on to know why.....

                         Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Cream Blush tube comes boxed in a black cardboard box which carries all the necessary information like the ingredient list, product details, manufacturing and expiry dates respectively. The actual blush comes in a translucent plastic tube which corresponds to the shade of blush inside the tube, with black fonts and a black screw-on cap. This tube packaging is classy, hygienic as well as travel-friendly. The neck of the tube (nozzle) is blunt like medicated ointments and gets messy, so once in a while I need to clean off the nozzle and the cap with a tissue.

                          The texture of these cream blushes is light-weight and the consistency is soft buttery. These are not those heavy conventional cream blushes that I have always come across, but they are watery and more of a gel formula. The fragrance is very faint but if you sniff hard at it you might get a whiff of sweetness in it. The pigmentation varies across the shades- pigmentation of the shade Pink Glow is insanely intense and the shade Soft Peach is sheer but still buildable. The trick is to start with minimal product and add more to build the intensity as required. Ofcourse both these shades are buildable and they are super blendable. Blending these cream blushes is a breeze.

SWATCH- PINK GLOW (LEFT) & SOFT PEACH (RIGHT)

                          I have oily skin and cream blushes needs to be topped with powder blushes or they give a greasy look to my skin but not these ones. These cream blushes adds a wonderful healthy glow to my cheeks which I love. Soft Peach has been my everyday blush for the last month or so as it is a very pale peach which would suit fair to medium skin tones, it would hardly show up on dusky skin tones. On the other hand Pink Glow is a gorgeous hot pink which I tend to use mostly in the evenings and on special occasions. This is one blush which you can unmistakably pair up with all your pink/nude lipsticks without fail. Pink Glow is a universally flattering shade and would suit most Indian skin tones.

SWATCH SPREAD- PINK GLOW (LEFT) & SOFT PEACH (RIGHT)

                                 The lasting power of both these cream blushes from Oriflame is incredible, where most cream blushes would disappear from my oily skin after a couple of hours, these ones stay intact for 7-8 hours. Just splashing water on my cheeks didn't remove the blush so I guess these are water-resistant and would not melt in the summers when we sweat. These blushes are absolutely non-sticky as well as non-greasy, according to me they are cheek stains. These doesn't break me out or cause me any kind of irritation. Removing them is easy, just wash off with your regular face wash and they are gone. The price tag of Rs 549 for 20 ml is justified because you literally need a teeny tiny amount for each use. As I have told you that I have been using it for the last month or so, but still I am not able to see much reduction in the quantity of blush in the tube. Big hits from Oriflame, I wish they launch more pretty shades!!!

SWATCH BLENDED- PINK GLOW (LEFT) & SOFT PEACH (RIGHT)

Pros:

* Intensely pigmented

* Creamy but Light-weight formula

* Buildable

* Easy to blend

* Non-sticky & Non-greasy

* Travel-friendly & hygienic packaging

* A tiny amount is needed for each use, so a little goes a long way

* Therefore the price is justified, also you can grab these cuties during sales

* Stays on for 7-8 hours and then fades off evenly

* Doesn't break me out or irritate my skin

Cons:

* Oriflame consultants are difficult to come by

                        I rate Oriflame Beauty Studio Artist Cream Blush in Soft Peach & Pink Glow 4.5 out of 5. I love the gel formula of these cream blush and as I have said these are more of cheek stains. The two shades sent out to me are gorgeous and these are tempting me to get hold of the third shade Sheer Berry but I am resisting as I already have a bunch of cream blushes. Highly recommended for all blush fanatics, the pigmentation and lasting power is to die for. Hits again from Oriflame!!!

Hope you enjoyed my review, do leave behind your precious comments and share with us your experience with Cream Blushes. Thank you and have a great Saturday night :)

ORIFLAME BEAUTY PERFECTING FACE PRIMER- REVIEW

30 g for INR 429

Oriflame Says :- Morning-fresh make-up-all day long! Light diffusing properties and emollients give your skin silky softness and an even complexion, whilst mattifying properties mean easier, more comfortable make-up application. The result is the perfect base for your make-up and

a wonderfully radiant finish.

Ingredients :- Aqua, Cyclopentasiloxane, Isonony Isononanoate, Cyclohexasiloxane, Talc, Carylyl Methicone, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Hexyl Laurate, Polyethylene, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, BIS-PEG/PPG-14/14 Dimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Methyparaben, Propylparaben, Silica, Titanium Dioxide, Ethylene Brassylate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium EDTA, Dimethicone, Alumina, Triethoxycaprylysilane

My Opinion :- Oriflame Face Primer the old version of this Perfecting Face Primer had the honor of being Truly Your's first ever primer. I used the old one twice and have been using the new one every winter or whenever my skin feels a little dehydrated. When Oriflame relaunched this primer, they declared that it was better than Mac Prep+ Prime, I haven't used the Mac Primer therefore I would not be able to compare the two. Anyways today I am going to put forward my views on this Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer. We use primers to create a base for foundations etc and to make the makeup last long. I have an entire post dedicated to primers here.

                            Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer tube comes boxed in a black cardboard box which carries all the necessary information like the ingredient list, product details, manufacturing and expiry dates respectively. The actual primer comes in a white translucent plastic tube with black fonts and a black screw-on cap. This tube packaging is classy, hygienic as well as travel-friendly. The neck of the tube (nozzle) is blunt like medicated ointments and gets messy, so once in a while I need to clean off the nozzle and the cap with a tissue.

                             This primer is white and a little runny, smells of some shampoo I can't remember right now :P But the scent is not overpowering, its mild and fades off after some time of application. As the primer is thin and creamy, it spreads on the skin without any effort. Oily skin beauties will not require an additional moisturiser as this primer comes with enough moisturising abilities. It adds a dewy glow to the skin upon application but does not make the skin slippery like a silicon based primer ought to do.

                               Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer gives minimal longevity to the makeup. I have oily skin and in the summers, the primer makes my T-zone shiny even in an air-conditioned environment. This primer does nothing for the fine lines but it minimizes pores to some extent. The Perfecting Primer contains a ton of silicon, it didn't irritate my skin or break me out. Also it's not mattifying, it lends a dewy finish to the skin and since I have very oily skin I tend to use it in the cold weather or whenever my skin feels a little dehydrated. Dry and normal skin girls will love this primer at all times. If you are on a budget or starting on primers, go ahead and grab this during one of those lucrative Oriflame sales. Its an affordable (Rs 429) desi primer and the first I ever came across and used from the Indian market.

Pros:

* Affordable (compared to Colorbar, Loreal, Revlon etc)

* Hygienic & travel-friendly packaging

* Doubles up as an eye makeup base

* Minimizes pores slightly

* Spreads easily on the skin

* Very light-weight formula

* Adds dewiness to the skin (Oily skin beauties might not like this feature)

* A little goes a long way

* Doesn't break me out and irritate my skin

Cons:

* No significant increase in makeup wear time

* Makes the T-zone shiny after an hour or so

* Available only through Oriflame consultants

* Makes my skin sweat in the summers

* No blurring of imperfections

                      I rate Oriflame Beauty Perfecting Face Primer 4 out of 5, I have given a high ranking because except the first and 2nd cons the other three are negligible. This is one of the first primers I came across in the Indian market and that too with an affordable price tag. Recommended for beginners and girls with dry & normal skin, also oily & combination skin girls can give a try during winters.

Hope you enjoyed my review, do leave behind your precious comments and share with us experience with Primers. Thank you and have a great Friday night :)

ORIFLAME MILK & HONEY GOLD NOURISHING HAND & BODY CREAM- REVIEW

250 gms for 479

With Organic Extracts of Milk & Honey

Oriflame Says :- A rich moisturising cream which softens, conditions and nourishes your hands and body delectably.

Ingredients :- Aqua, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Stearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Paraffinum Liquidum, Mel, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Carbomer, Ceteareth-20, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Stearic Acid, Sine Adipe Lac, Propylparaben, Parfum, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Isopropyl Myristate, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Hydroxycitronellal, CI 47005, CI 14700

My Opinion :- I have dry skin on my body, specially on my limbs. As winter approaches, I perk up my body care routine as my skin gets drier. Last month Oriflame sent me a whole bunch of products and I was very excited to find Milk & Honey Gold Nourishing Hand & Body Cream among other stuff. This cream is officially my first body cream from Oriflame, but I doubt if it had the word 'Gold' in it back then. Anyways the formula and packaging seems to have remained the same over the years. As I was using some other body lotions (for both day & night time) from other brand, I started using this since last 20 days or more. So here I am with my views on Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Nourishing Hand & Body Cream.

                         This Milk & Honey Cream comes in a cute round see-through plastic jar with a golden brown screw-on lid. The packaging is sturdy but not hygienic as I have to dip my finger to get the cream out for use (I have long nails). The jar is big enough to be travel-friendly but there is a protective foil at the mouth of the jar to avoid the cream from coming in contact with the lid and getting messy. Still I don't prefer to carry it along with me during my frequent travels as the cute jar is bulky and a little heavy too. I wish Oriflame had a smaller tube packaging of this cream as well, then it would have been hygienic and travel-friendly as well.

                      The fragrance of this hand & body cream too has remained the same as far as I can remember. The Milk & Honey Soap has a similar scent, fresh Jasmine but sweet and mild. The scent stays on for a while before fading off totally. This hand & body cream is a pale yellowish in color, thick butter-ish but more of a gel formula, it's light weight but very hydrating. This Milk & Honey Cream gives a cool feel to the skin upon application and therefore I think it would be a treat to use it during the hot summer nights. About 5 small blobs of cream is enough to cover my entire body. I prefer to dip a Q-tip to take out the product instead of my finger as the quantity is huge (250 gm), I would not be able to finish it off anytime soon and also I don't want to contaminate it.

THE CREAM LOOKS LIKE THICK BUTTER, VERY HEAVY

                             I use two different body creams/lotions everyday at different times, a lotion/cream with sun protection for the day and a plain one for the night. This hand and body cream does not come with sun protection and this is the reason I apply it all over my body during the night as I love to apply body lotions/cream at night before hitting the bed. I have seen my mom doing this since I was a mere child and I have happily followed her. This cream easily gets absorbed into the skin with a gentle massage and immediately hydrates my dry skin. This Milk & Honey Cream is non-sticky and has good moisturising abilities but it just goes off within an hour leaving behind a luxurious silky-satiny feel to the skin. This silky feel stays on till washed off with water.

                           As for my hands, they are a lot dry, so I need a specialized hand cream but I do top it with this hand and body cream and than my hands are silky to the touch. In the morning my skin feels soft and supple and silky to the touch. I have to move on to a richer cream/lotion as the harsh winters come by because by then my skin would be much more drier and would need a richer moisturiser. Otherwise this hand and body cream would work wonders on my skin during the summers/warm/not so cold days when the skin on my body is not so dry. I know of a girl, who has normal facial skin and uses this on her face at all times and has fabulous skin. Ofcourse I never tried it on my face and I never will :P but it's my mom's favorite body cream (she had normal body skin) and a hit from Oriflame.

Pros:

* Very hydrating

* Imparts a luxurious silky-satiny feel to the skin

* Mild & sweet Jasmine fragrance

* Rs 479 for 250 gm is justified, Oriflame products are on sale most of the time

* Non-sticky & non-greasy formula

* Light-weight gel formula, looks like thick butter

* Gets absorbed into the skin easily

* Contains organic extracts of milk & honey

* Makes the skin soft & supple

Cons:

* Bulky packaging, not travel-friendly & hygienic (I prefer tube packaging over jars with open mouths

* Available only through Oriflame consultants

* No SPF included

* Moisturizing effect lasts only for an hour or less, would need reapplication if used during the day

                   I rate Oriflame Milk & Honey Gold Nourishing Hand & Body Cream 4.25 out of 5. It does not comes with sun protection and so I had to use it during nights only. Gives a luxurious silky feel to the skin apart from being hydrating. Highly recomemded to all girls who adore body creams and also to girls with all skin types except very very dry chapped skin. A great body cream from Oriflame <3
